What if there a was a much better way to deliver modern foreign languages to students in school? Moving away from an archaic academic approach to a more natural one that addresses the actual needs of the students?
What if this approach was based on the actual communication that takes place when you speak a language? After all, you don't need to know how a car works to be able to drive one, do you?
What if assessments was solely based on the quality of this communication, orally to start with, and in writing when the time is right?
Questioning what we have been doing for years could plant the seeds of what could become the first educational revolution.
Education is to serve the needs of our students, not the other way round.
